JuNoWriMo

I've decided to use JuNoWriMo as an opportunity to finish my novel. I know you're supposed to write the whole novel but, seeing as I've already started one, I want to use the month of June to finish mine. I need some sort of definite goal. This is it! :) Just wondering if anyone else will be joining in on this lovely madness?

Books

I absolutely love to read and I love to write. I love how words can take you to another place. We're able use our imaginations. Something that pretty much stops when we grow up. There's nothing like living out a novel in your head.
I just wanted to share some of my favorite books and maybe you could tell me some of yours.
I love Sarah Dessen. She is an amazing writer. I do have to catch up on her books though. Two of my favorites by her are "The Truth About Forever" and "Just Listen." Incredible novels that are so realistic. I recommend reading them.
I've already recommended Lauren DeStefano's The Chemical Garden Trilogy. Some of the best writing ever. :)
I also loved "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer but it was difficult for me to get into. Normally a book has to grab me right from the first sentence or forget it. But I kept hearing how good it was so, after a couple of tries, I got past the slow-moving chapters in the beginning. Then I couldn't put the book down. I was up all hours of the night reading it! I haven't seen the movie yet.

Hello...

Wow! I guess it's time to do one of these. Been a long time. Gotta clean out the cobwebs.
I'm starting a new novel and it all started with just a random thought about the santa ana winds. My mind is very random. But I'm excited to see where this story leads me, as always. Maybe one day it'll be out there for all of you to read. Never know. :)
I'm almost done with school. Super excited about that! Less time studying and more time writing! Memorizing muscles, bones, arteries, veins, and nerves for the practical seems like a bit much. Anatomy is rough!
Anyway, I'll share a video since it's been some time.

Books to read

I'm sure all of you have heard of the Chemical Garden Trilogy by Lauren DeStefano. If you haven't or haven't read them I'm recommending that you do. These books are just epic! I was hooked right from the first sentence in Wither to the last in Sever. Lauren is an incredible writer. Some of the best writing I've ever read.
Next, I'd like to read Tahereh Mafi's Shatter Me.

Busy Life

I've been in school, working, and writing. I'm also pregnant! I'm super excited but also super tired all of the time! :) I've been writing a lot and I've fallen in love with my wips. That's exciting too!
I'm obsessed with this song right now. It's my new writing inspiration! The first time I heard Imagine Dragons was probably about a year ago and I fell in love with their music. So, I hope you enjoy! "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons. :)

I Heart Writing

Wow! I love writing so much! I'm starting a new novel, not sure of the title yet. But I'd forgotten the joy of discovering your story. I've fallen head over heels in love my characters!
It's also so wonderful to have the whole day to write. I don't have to work as much these days, so I have more time for writing. And I'm loving it!
